Our organization understands the importance of having values to help drive our journey to success. We have set standards that help guide the behavior of the people in our company. Mid-Continent Management Services operating values include:
- Integrity - We understand it is important that those you are leading trust you to lead. We will only gain the trust of others if we behave in a way that puts “doing right” as a top priority. Integrity is doing what is right, always, even when nobody is looking.
- Compassion - Leading is not about telling others we are in charge or that we are right. We must lead by example and show others that we are sincere about leading them and helping them solve problems. It is easy to be nice because it makes you look like a good leader, but truly successful organizations and leaders sincerely care about others. We want others to succeed and want others to be happy. We must set a good example and show our stakeholders and the communities we work in that we know how to treat everyone fairly. We will lead through our service to people, the environment, and the communities we operate in.
- Authenticity - We understand that our actions must be congruent with the way they behave, think, feel, and lead. Being authentic requires an alignment between the way we view ourselves and the way others view our leadership and commitment to improving the world around us. We will strive to “keep it real” with our clients, employees, communities, and other stakeholders. There are enough “fake” leaders in the world. We do what we do out of love!
